(Which he made me drive to work today to match my red top *LOL* ( laugh out loud) the officer's love the car too. The "BABY" made him so HAPPY..... If only I had, had a movie camera. It was priceless to say the least. He hugged me and about cried on me said "HIS DREAM OF 30 yrs HAD COME TRUE..... and thanked me. That's what this whole deal was about. Rick could not have been happier than the moment the garage door opened at his surprise 5oth birthday party to open his eyes and see her (the 1973 Corvette) for the first time. "Time capsule" gets thrown around a lot. But I tell ya man, that car is one. Just turned over 46,000 miles. More reliable than my daily driver Audi. And oh so fun. The Alpine Loop to Sundance is just minutes from my garage. It's like 30 miles of extreme scenic twists and turns up and over the summit of Mt. Timpanogos at 11-12k feet.
